The nineteenth stage, a individual time trial of 49 km, would bring the decision in the general classification of this year's Tour de France. It rained in France and the course was quite slippery. The two main candidates for victory this year, Lance Armstrong (USA) and Jan Ullrich (Germany), were cycling equally fast until km 35. Ullrich fell in a turn and lost some seconds. After that, Armstrong did not take any chances and finished the course without taking risks. He was third and Ullrich was fourth. The stage was won by David Millar (UK). Armstrong kept the yellow jersey and most likely he will win the race this year.
After a fifth place in the first time trial, Sweden's Olle Olausson claimed the stage victory today. Rodney Janes (New Zealand) was second and Tiziano Urgert (The Netherlands) third. In the overall rankings, Belinda Ward (USA) remains at the top position. If tomorrow's stage ends in the expected sprint finish, Ward is the favorite for the overall victory in the game. Of the participants in the top 10, she has collected the largest number of points in the flat stages, many of which ended in sprint finishes. After the time trial, the top four in the game comes from the United States: Lou Solko is second, Heath M. Brown third and Stewart Alford fourth.
