Stage 3 of the Tour de France finished in a bunch sprint which was won by Mark Cavendish (UK). Fanbian Cancellara (Switzerland) kept the yellow jersey.
Because of a break in the peloton 30 km before the end, 28 riders finished ahead of the rest. This means that the stage top 10 does not only contain top sprinters, which made it hard to predict. In this first stage for the Internet Tour de France Game 2009, we have no fewer that three winners: Fiona G. (USA), Julian O'Brien (UK) and T. Chauvin (USA). They also become the first-time leaders in this game edition.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) there will be a team trail stage which does not take part in the game.
