Astana has won the team trial stage over 39 km. The team finished 40 seconds ahead of Saxo Bank and that was just too little for Astana's Lance Armstrong to claim the leader's jersey from Saxo Bank Fabian Cancellara. The difference between the top five (Cancellara and four Astana riders) is now only 31 seconds.
